27th Annual – A Taste of Hilo
Event Date: October 19, 2025 | 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Location: Sangha Hall
With your help and the help of many others in our community, we’ve graciously made financial contributions to Hawaiʻi Community College toward their workforce development programs. In 2022, we accomplished our most successful silent auction event to date! Last year, we hosted our first in-person event after the pandemic. We saw a lot of old friends and met new supporters at Taste of Hilo 2023! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
Your help supports higher education, the JCCIH, and the local food and beverage industry. For a quarter century, the enthusiasm and creativity surrounding A Taste of Hilo have amazed the many individuals involved with this event. We can continue this momentum with your support and hope you see you back on October 27th!
Our Mission
JCCIH promotes a sustainable economic environment in which local businesses can flourish, provide meaningful jobs, and foster a healthy, vibrant Hawai‘i Island.
Kahiau (giving without expecting anything in return) and Okage Sama De (I am what I am because of you) are the bedrock of our organization and are what set us apart.
JCCIH believes in partnerships; we work closely with other chambers and organizations on Hawai‘i Island, and have deep ties with our sister chamber in Japan, the Higashi-Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

JCCIH Advocacy Priorities & Focus Areas
The Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Hawaiʻi fights for its members every day. We’re focused on protecting local business interests, finding creative ways to boost our economy, supporting innovative industries, increasing employment opportunities, and contributing to a thriving Hawai‘i Island community.
